I think this proves I still suck at paints. I'd say the house and the feet are the two most vomit-inducing things on the canvas. Still, you learn something every time, so maybe the next thing I do will turn out all right.
If there's anyone out there who has some experience with paint, any tips would be nice.
getting better frank i can tell.. . a sudgestion, darks and lighter lights. you have to go from beeeing verydark in one place to light in the other, check out the cloak in my newest painting, not the best color but you can tell exactly where all the folds are and which way its going, in some places i go from almost black to white. the less space you use to go from dark to light the more sharp the fold looks. and finally use opposite colors when mixing paint.... i dont know if you did that but when you want to make dark green mix in red instead of black, and to darken yellow mix in purple instead of blacks... if this makes any sence let me know if you have a question let me know.
I did not know that (use opposite colors). I'm gonna do that from now on. Thanks.
And I think my biggest problem right now is the darks and lights, like you pointed out. I always have this problem with ink, and I guess it carried over to my painings too. Thing is I always forget I have this problem, so I'm glad you mentioned it. I'll try to remember to avoid this next time.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
